In Ayurveda there is a saying ‘everything is right for someone, but nothing is right for everyone’ Knowing our unique constitution helps us to decide which exercise, lifestyle practices and herbs are best to keep us healthy and bring us back into balance.
As a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist in Brighton I offer clients diet, lifestyle and health consultations.
This initial Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist Consultation is important if you have a diagnosed health condition that you need help with, want to understand how to use Ayurveda for creating healthier habits and optimum health, or if your body needs support in navigating change.
Together we will discover your prakruti , or your constitution and identify any imbalance ( vikruti ) Then Ayurvedic recommendations can be made to help you move from sickness, or disease towards health and harmony.
If you have accessibility challenges and would prefer to have an appointment over zoom, or need step free access to be able to access my treatments then please get in touch with me. I would be delighted to assist.
If you are unsure of which treatment to book please book a free 15- minute discovery call slot.
The initial Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist one hour consultation will enable me to work out what your constitution is naturally, identify any imbalances present and look at the root cause and make some suggestions. Your first appointment should take up to an hour. Many clients like to book in for an abhyanga massage for afterwards.
We’ll complete a detailed health history, discussing any symptoms you have had previously and look at your current symptoms and any challenges, I will go through questions with you, designed to thoroughly assess your current state of health.
Once the appointment has finished, I’ll carry out a detailed analysis of the information that you have provided and send you either a diet sheet, treatment plan, or both. Please note that I do not offer this if you opt for a ten-minute massage length consultation.
That is up to you. Every client is unique and needs different things. Making lifestyle changes can be tricky and if you are having challenges the follow-ups are a chance to check in with your progress and for you to ask any questions. They are a bit like having a non-judgmental accountability buddy and cheerleader. If deemed helpful they may be recommended to you after a few sessions, if you feel like you need one, please feel free to book in.
I look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and assisting you on this beautiful path to vibrant health. May many blessings be with you always, Emma.
